M25 anti-clockwise just after entering J12

The signs at 1 mile, 2/3rds, 1/3rd & on entering M25 J12 anti-clockwise all show 2 lanes for any direction of the M3. Suddenly, once the 2 exit lanes have chevrons separating them from the main carriageway, these signs reassign the lanes to be one for each direction of the M3 (left for London, right for the SW). This leads to almost all the left lane suddenly joining the right, which leads to the right exit lane often backing up dangerously half a mile or more on the main motorway - with vehicles trying to cut in from both sides. As the M25 J12 anti-clockwise junction physically supports both exit lanes joining the M3 SW, I'd change the left lane sign to allow traffic for both M3 directions, and subsequently have the London traffic as a left turn from the left exit lane. This would keep both exit lanes flowing reasonably & equally well by reflecting the respective traffic volumes.
